Super Motor Sports
A local team of truck-racing drivers competing in South Eastern Connecticut wanted a website to showcase their race schedule and their truck and sponsors.
They were a great group of people to work with. We started with a small handful of photographs and some ideas on paper, and came up with the site you see below. We used a combination of bold colors and imagery to create a snappy appearance. The site was very image-heavy, so all of the images were optimized for maximum speed. Many of the images presented a good depth, due to the perspective and layout.
In all, this was a really fun site to work on. The entire site was "portal-driven", by Perl and some other custom code, to keep it fresh and dynamic.
Unfortunately, the team is no longer together, and the domain has long-since expired. We all wish them the best of luck to all of them in their new ventures.
